National Vocational Qualifications (NPK)

A National Vocational Qualification (NPK) allows you to formally certify the knowledge and skills required to practice a specific profession.

Skills you have acquired through work, education, training, volunteer work, or self-study may be taken into account.

Upon successful completion of the process, you will receive an NPK certificate. This is a publicly recognized document that serves as proof of your professional qualifications. The NPK certificate does not represent a level of education.

NPK Training

Do you need to complete training first? Not always. If you already have the required knowledge, experience, and appropriate documentation, and you meet the specific requirements, you can apply directly for certification.

The training is intended for anyone who needs to acquire, expand, or reinforce their knowledge.

It prepares you for work in your chosen field and for the subsequent process of obtaining an NPK certificate.

Simply completing the training does not in itself mean that you have earned a certificate.

NPK Certification

Certification is a formal process in which you demonstrate your knowledge, skills, and experience.

If you already meet the required criteria, you can apply directly for the certification process. If you lack the necessary knowledge or documentation, you can enroll in the appropriate training program beforehand.

The procedure and specific conditions are described in detail for each individual NPK certificate.

Which route is right for you?

• Choose NPK training if you need to acquire, refresh, or supplement your knowledge.
• Choose NPK certification if you already have the necessary knowledge and experience ( meaning you already meet the specific requirements for a particular NPK certificate) and wish to have them officially recognized with a publicly valid certificate.
