As one of the largest organizations in the field of adult education in Slovenia, we recognize how important it is to offer participants up-to-date content and a diverse range of formal and informal programs. We also recognize the importance of networking and collaboration. We are proud to successfully collaborate with businesses and other organizations at both the local and regional levels, and we are members of the Association of Adult Education Centers of Slovenia.
Our employees are always approachable, professional, positive, and always ready to take on new challenges. We strive to offer a diverse range of opportunities for our participants, which is why we participate in various international and Slovenian projects, apply for public grants, and develop new programs.
It is a fact that hard work really does pay off, as our institution has demonstrated. Over the past ten years, we have made significant progress in the field of secondary and elementary education for adults; we are obtaining licenses to certify and evaluate national vocational qualifications; and we are also expanding and updating our offerings in the field of foreign language education and Slovenian language instruction for foreigners.
Through the implementation of numerous projects, we aim to increase access to knowledge for as many target groups as possible and to emphasize the importance of lifelong learning. Let’s highlight just a few projects: Acquiring Basic and Vocational Competencies, Career Center for Youth, Intercultural Center, Lifelong Career Guidance, Lifelong Learning Week, Cool Job, Ferfl … In 2017, we opened the multigenerational center N’šPlac, where a wide variety of non-formal programs take place every month. The institute also operates an Advisory Center, which offers career counseling, among other services. If you prefer to learn independently, you can take advantage of Self-Study Center, where we offer a quiet space for studying and writing seminar papers and homework assignments.
