You are invited to participate free of charge in the “Barje Intergenerational Mosaic” program, which will consist of 4 modules and will be held in the following municipalities:
Brezovica, Borovnica, Dobrova–Polhov Gradec, Log–Dragomer, and Vrhnika (but no matter where you’re from, everyone who wants to improve their knowledge is welcome).
The purpose of the project is to address the needs and specific characteristics of the environment, such as the scattered nature of the settlements and the high unemployment rate in the Barje region. Through the implementation of our modules, we will address these needs and characteristics through interdisciplinary, holistic, circular, and collaborative efforts among partners, as well as through the transfer of various skills and and competencies—both across generations and among various vulnerable population groups.
The modules we will be covering are:
- First Module = MODULE: VEGETABLE GARDENING AND HERB CULTIVATION
- Second module = ICT TECHNOLOGY MODULE (Information and Communication Technologies)
- Third Module = BEEKEEPING MODULE
- Module 4 = MANUFACTURING OF FINAL PRODUCTS – ITEMS
We invite you to a free ICT workshop as part of the second module, where we will develop skills and knowledge in using a smartphone. We’ll focus on the basic functions, and of course, the workshop will be long enough for us to answer your individual questions as well. Don’t forget to bring your cell phone with you.
