One of the most popular events in the region—InCastra—is focusing on the theme “People as the Driving Force Behind Innovation” this year.
This multi-day event, which was launched at the initiative of Ajdovščina Mayor Tadej Beočanin and has been co-organized by the Ajdovščina Adult Education Center for nearly a decade, brings together business, education, and the professions of the future.
The main event will take place on September 19 at the Ajdovščina Airport, where more than 50 innovative companies, a university, and various organizations will present themselves through interactive displays. Visitors will learn about their products, innovations, and job opportunities. The family program will feature the Dunking Devils, Katapult Robotics, and airplane flyovers.
The event kicks off on September 16 with a roundtable discussion titled “How to Develop Competencies, Talents, and Organizations?”, featuring Dušan Olaj, Tanja Harej, Dr. Maša Jazbec, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Blaž Koritnik, and Dr. Jana Krapež Trošt.
As part of Fuckup Nights, Ivo Boscarol, Tjaša Fajdiga, and Dr. Erik Brecelj will share their failures and the lessons they’ve learned, while Maja Golob will discuss why ideas often go unspoken.
