Eva Štraser, an ambitious entrepreneur who is a quality manager (QM), an ISO 9001:2008 internal auditor, an innovator, the creative director behind her own line of bioplastic products, an authorized signatory, and a co-owner of BOKRI d.o.o.
Since November 2007, she has been working at the family-owned company Bokri d.o.o., which manufactures engineering plastics for the electrical and automotive industries. She has big plans for the family business, which operates thirteen plastic injection molding machines. With an innovative product and an eye toward a bright future, she aims to create a new and unique company and introduce it to Slovenia and the world. Through this company, she aims to establish it as one of the first Slovenian manufacturers of its own bioplastic products.
Since it is necessary to test an idea before a product’s initial introduction (launch) to the market, she participated in the Introductory Entrepreneurship Academy with a Social Impact in November 2015, both in Kozina and in Murska Sobota. She successfully completed both sessions as the winner. At the same time, under the watchful eye of her mentors, she refined her business model, devised an action plan for entering the global market, and also found room to develop complementary products that round out the range of biodegradable offerings.
Eco-friendly seedling pots, available in four different package sizes, are already on sale at the Amarant organic nursery in Trzin and at many other organic stores.
