Free financial literacy programs as part of the "Finančni plac" project - Cene Štupar

We are pleased to announce that we were successful in the public call for proposals titled “Financial Literacy Programs and Digital Library.” As part of this project, together with our consortium partners—of which we are the lead partner—we will implement the “Finančni plac” project: A Hub for Financial Literacy for Everyone, which will make a significant contribution to improving the financial literacy of the people of Slovenia.

The main goal of the project is to strengthen citizens’ financial resilience and literacy and to help them achieve and maintain financial stability, especially during times of unpredictable economic and social change. The program will run from October 2024 to June 2026, and its key benefit is free training.

As part of the project, we will carry out the following programs:

40-hour informal programs
100-hour publicly accredited programs

Through these programs, participants will be able to gain knowledge in the following areas:

Identifying Money Management Patterns and How to Improve Them.
Steps for Establishing Sound Personal Financial Management.
Understanding the reasons for avoiding excessive spending and debt.
Mechanisms to protect against the loss of money’s value.
Investment Basics: How to Get Started and Which Strategies to Use.
Key Differences Between Good and Bad Loans.
First Steps Toward Financial Security and Freedom.
Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship

We invite you to join our free training sessions, which we are organizing as part of the Finančni plac project.

In these training courses, you will gain knowledge that will help you improve your financial skills and plan for your financial future. There are two programs available that cover a wide range of topics related to personal finance and real estate.

Important: Registration is only possible for the entire program; individual workshops are not available. A minimum attendance rate of 80 percent is required.

This project is funded by the European Union—NextGenerationEU—as part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan.
