Purpose of the Project

The VETechConn project aims to improve the digital skills of vocational and technical education and training (VET) instructors in Bosnia and Herzegovina (in Sarajevo and Vogošć) and Montenegro (in Nikšić and Podgorica), together with educators from relevant vocational and technical educational institutions (in Sarajevo, Zenica, Goražde, and Široki Brijeg in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Podgorica in Montenegro).

Project Objectives

• empower educators by providing them with extensive training resources and materials, accessible through a state-of-the-art digital platform symbolically named VETechConn. (The development of tailored training programs will be facilitated by partner organizations from the Western Balkan countries, which will draw on their specific expertise and experience and receive guidance from established EU partners in Croatia and Slovenia.);
• bridging the gap between the evolving demands of the vocational education sector and the challenges of digital transformation faced by staff at vocational and technical educational institutions;
• improving students’ digital literacy, which will consequently increase their competitiveness in the labor market and have a positive impact on the socioeconomic environment of the entire community.

Target Groups

The primary target group consists of instructors and teachers at secondary vocational and technical education institutions

The secondary target group consists of students enrolled in secondary vocational and technical education programs.
