Project Description
The Finančni plac project offers financial literacy programs for all adults, in accordance with ZIO-1. Participants will gain knowledge in the areas of personal finance planning, investing, debt management, tax law, security, online banking, and other related topics. They can enroll in 40-hour non-formal programs or 100-hour officially recognized programs.
Purpose of the Project
The purpose of the project is to strengthen the financial resilience and literacy of the residents of Slovenia and to enable them to achieve and maintain financial well-being during times of unpredictable economic and social change.
Planned and Achieved Results
Together with our consortium partners, we will enroll 415 people in the program.
Financial Value of the Project
The total value of the project is 405,487.50 EUR, and it is funded through the Recovery and Resilience Facility.

The Path to Financial Freedom
The Path to Financial Freedom is a state-approved educational program designed for young adults up to age 35 who want to improve their financial knowledge and develop skills for responsible money management. Young adults often face challenges during this stage of life, such as taking out their first loans, renting an apartment, high cost of living, and uncertainty in the job market. The program addresses precisely these challenges, ranging from debt management to long-term financial planning.
Participants in the program gain the fundamental knowledge, skills, and confidence to:
- making financial decisions,
- protection against financial risks,
- planning for a secure financial future.
Over the course of 21 sessions, program participants will learn about topics such as: beliefs about money, personal budgeting, saving, investing, assessing risks and benefits, managing credit and debt, taxes and contributions, blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, how funds work, the basics of insurance, smart shopping, real estate, and the importance of financial freedom.
Upon completion of the program, participants will receive an officially recognized certificate of training, provided they attend at least 80% of the program.

Join us for a free “Personal Finance Made Simple” workshop, where we’ll explain in a relaxed and easy-to-understand way how to manage your personal finances, reduce money-related stress, and start investing—without complicated jargon and without requiring any prior knowledge.
