Dškatla is a young company made up of all four members of the family. Two mischievous preschoolers who relentlessly test out ideas, Primož, who brings a more rational perspective to the ideas, and the dreamy Mateja, whose head is constantly spinning with ideas for fun family activities.
The idea for the Family Box came from Mateja, who found herself out of work after her second maternity leave and enrolled in a series of entrepreneurship workshops and programs. In one of these, her idea—which had a social impact—even won the competition. After development and a series of tests, Dškatla is now a favorite among families, who can’t wait for the next one to come out.
The Family Box, or “Dškatla” for short, is designed for young families with children ages 3 to 10. It includes 7 activities for quality family time. With fun and educational ideas, it encourages and strengthens relationships within the family. All activities are clearly illustrated in the instructions, and all necessary materials are included. It is published four times a year with new ideas, and always covers seven areas: arts and crafts, board games, gardening, cooking, reading, family outings, and relationships. Dškatla makes it easier for parents to find ideas and purchase materials for fun, educational, and—above all—quality family time.
