On Friday, we gathered at the Bistrica Elementary School in Tržič and officially opened the startup weekend with remarks from representatives of the organizers: Metka Knific, director of the Tržič Adult Education Center, and Mateja Rozman Amon, director of the Radovljica Adult Education Center. Borut Sajovic, mayor of the Municipality of Tržič, and Miran Rems, deputy mayor of the Municipality of Radovljica, also addressed the participants. Following the introductory remarks, Alenka Hren from the Spirit Slovenia Public Agency presented the terminology, distinctions, and dimensions of entrepreneurship to the participants. This was followed by a division into groups by sector (agriculture, tourism, health, seniors, children and family, and other). Each group selected one idea, which they then worked on throughout the weekend. This was followed by a team-building workshop, where participants got to know each other better and prepared for collaboration. To conclude the day, the exceptional Tomaž Stritar spoke about the principles of lean entrepreneurship. All activities took place under his watchful eye, as he guided the entire event and motivated the participants. He was assisted in this by his colleague Marko Koštomaj.
