You will be trained primarily to work in numerous fields of the economy, such as banking, finance, law, marketing, sales, and public relations. You will acquire modern economic knowledge and develop key competencies for successful personal growth and work in a business environment. The program emphasizes the integration of theory and practice and is distinguished by its selection of specialized modules and an open curriculum, within which you will acquire the fundamental knowledge of entrepreneurship necessary to develop your own career path. Tuition Refund Policy

We’ll inform you about the options for tuition reimbursement and help you complete the necessary paperwork. We regularly monitor calls for applications intended for our participants.

Economic technicians have been and will continue to be the foundation of various economic activities. Demand for economic technicians is currently on the rise, as companies are once again more actively expanding into various domestic and foreign markets.

Enrollment Requirements

Anyone who has successfully completed secondary vocational education and obtained one of the following secondary vocational education credentials may enroll in the PTI Economic Technician program:

  • salesperson, administrator, or
  • has obtained an equivalent education under previous regulations.

Enrollment Process

Before enrolling, you can contact us by phone or email, or visit our office for an informational meeting. After reviewing your documentation and analyzing your needs and options, you can decide to enroll. Upon enrollment, you will work with the program organizer to develop a personalized education plan that outlines the conditions, methods, formats, and deadlines for fulfilling the obligations set forth in the educational program.

Upon enrollment, you will also gain access to the e-index, where you can access various materials, exam dates, lectures, consultations with professors, class schedules, and other important information.

Payment

The registration fee is 150.00 EUR and is valid for the current school year. Upon registration, the participant chooses the educational format that best suits their needs. If they wish to attend lectures more frequently, they can purchase a package of 10 exams with lectures (tuition) and pay for them in installments. However, if they choose to study independently and take exams, they can pay for exams and lectures as they go.

The exam costs 90.00 EUR, and the exam with a lecture costs 160.00 EUR. Tuition and the registration fee total 1,600.00 EUR—you can pay this in 10 installments.

The first retake of the exam is free of charge.

Upon enrollment, you must pay the enrollment fee and the cost of at least three exams, or the enrollment fee and the first installment of tuition. This allows each participant to create a personalized educational program and pay only for what they actually use.

If the payer is a COMPANY or another legal entity, we will issue an invoice to you based on the company’s purchase order.

Type of Education

Adjustments for Special Education

Course requirements are adjusted based on the recognition of an individual’s prior learning. Adult education is a specialized field of education, so we strive to adapt to your needs as much as possible and take your individual needs into account.

Lectures are held 2–4 times a week in the afternoon, as are exams and office hours. Exam periods run throughout the year, and the vast majority of exams can be taken at least once a month. This allows participants to set their own pace and tailor their education to their needs.

You can choose between attending lectures and self-directed learning. An exam follows the completion of the lecture series. While the focus is on self-study, you have access to in-person and online consultations with the instructor, during which they will explain your course requirements and objectives and are available to answer any questions you may have.

Upon enrollment, work with the training provider to develop a personalized training plan that outlines the conditions, methods, formats, and deadlines for fulfilling the obligations set forth in the training program.

Lectures

2–4 times a week in the afternoon, according to the schedule

Most courses do not have mandatory lectures before the exam, but depending on your individual situation, we will advise you on which ones you should attend.

Who can complete the program?

Requirements for Completing the PROGRAM

The following must be rated positively:

  • general education courses,
  • required professional modules,
  • elective professional modules,
  • the open part of the curriculum.

In addition, the following must be completed:

  • requirements for on-the-job training,
  • vocational high school diploma.

Conclusion – Vocational High School Diploma

  • a written and oral exam in Slovenian,
  • a written and oral exam in economics,
  • a written and oral exam in a foreign language or mathematics,
  • product or service and justification.

Obtaining an officially recognized document: VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA

Degree earned: ECONOMICS TECHNICIAN

Completion of Education - Vocational High School Diploma

The vocational high school graduation exam is administered three times a year (spring, fall, and winter sessions).

To register for the vocational high school graduation exam, go to the office and fill out the REGISTRATION FORM. You do not necessarily need to have passed all your exams at the time of registration. You must complete all requirements by the withdrawal deadline. If you wish to withdraw from the vocational high school graduation exam, you must fill out a WITHDRAWAL FORM at the office .
