20-hour preparation for the Slovene language exam

The 20-hour preparation for the exam in Slovene as a second and foreign language is intended for all those who want in-depth professional counseling and evaluation of Slovene language before the exam and acquaintance with the typology of exam tasks and language training. The condition for enrollment is knowledge of Slovene at the A1-A2 level. Preparations are not a condition for taking the exam.

Preparation usually take place in the morning or evening times. It is held four times in classroom for four school hours, the remining four hours professor is correcting and evaluating your sample exam sheets so she can give you feedback.

You can register personally in the office of the public institution Cene Štupar during office hours, taking into account all protective epidemiological measures. You also pay at check-in; payment is possible with bank card or cash.

Applications are also accepted via e-mail at tecajislovenscine@cene-stupar.si. Payment will be made upon receipt of the invoice - at least 1 day before the start of preparations.

PRICE: 50 € with VAT (price does not include taking the Slovene language exam).

Payment must be made no later than the day of the start of preparations.

30-hour online preparation for the Slovene language exam

CONTENT OF THE PROGRAM

• General information on the composition and course of the Exam.
• Reading comprehension: consideration of short and long texts.
• Auditory comprehension: short and long dialogues, notices, opinions, instructions, ...
• Written communication: creation of various texts (letter, e-mail, request,…).
• Voice communication: conversation (personal presentation, picture descriptions, role plays).

HOW WILL THE PROGRAM BE IMPLEMENTED?

Education takes place at a distance via computer, tablet or smartphone. Prior to the start, the mentor offers participants help with the use of the aids.

Group online meetings will take place 3 times a week in the morning (morning group) or on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings (weekend group).

During the online meetings of the group, the participant receives materials, tasks and assignments that he must perform independently, but with the support of the professor, mentor.

The last set of preparations is intended for individual discussions and giving feedback to each participant individually.

The preparations end with a group meeting, where the professor gives the last, valuable instructions and evaluates the program.

 As your opinion counts, after completing the program, fill out a survey questionnaire on your satisfaction with the implementation of the program.

WHO IS THE PROGRAM FOR?

The program is intended for persons who wish to obtain a publicly valid certificate of knowledge of Slovene as a second and foreign language at the basic level.

We especially recommend the program to people who have learned Slovene on their own (in a family circle, from friends, at work, ...) and have not attended a Slovene language course.

10-hour online preparation for the Slovene language exam

CONTENT OF THE PROGRAM

• General information on the composition and course of the exam.
• Acquaintance with the Rules.
• Presentation of a sample exam paper: reading comprehension, auditory comprehension, written communication, spoken communication.

HOW WILL THE PROGRAM BE IMPLEMENTED?

The training will take place remotely via computer, tablet or smartphone. The mentor will provide participants with help with the use of the aids before starting.

Group online meetings will take place 5 times a week in the morning (morning group) or in the evening (evening group).

For many people, taking the exam is a very stressful situation. Uncertainty about an unknown situation causes trepidation and the person is unable to demonstrate their knowledge before the examination board. Also, many people who are unfamiliar with problem-solving strategies deal with time constraints, misunderstandings of instructions during the exam, instead of focusing all their energy and thought process on effectively completing exam tasks and proactively collaborating with the exam committee at oral part of the exam.
