Slovenian Language Course for Parents

The “Slovenian for Parents” program is a non-formal program designed for parents who encounter difficulties using the Slovenian language in their daily lives. “Slovenian for Parents” is part of the City’s Adult Education Program.

Target audience:

Parents whose children attend preschool or elementary school in the MOL area.

Slovenian Language Program for Parents:

In this program, participants will acquire a basic knowledge of Slovenian for practical use in everyday life. They will develop speaking, reading, and listening skills. The content will be tailored to the target group and will relate to situations that parents encounter in their daily lives.

Training method:

The course includes many practical examples, dialogues between participants and instructors, and work with written and online resources. At the end of the training, participants take an internal assessment and receive a certificate of participation.

Duration of training sessions:

The program consists of 70 instructional hours.

Enrollment and Withdrawal

Contact the counselor at the elementary schools and preschools where we will be implementing the program, or email the program organizer, Andreja Ivanič.

Registrations will be accepted until all spots are filled. The program will take place only if at least 12 participants register.
