You are invited to participate free of charge in the “Barje Intergenerational Mosaic” program, which will consist of 4 modules and will be held in the following municipalities: Brezovica, Borovnica, Dobrova–Polhov Gradec, Log–Dragomer, and Vrhnika (but no matter where you’re from, everyone who wants to expand their knowledge is welcome).
The modules we will be covering are:
- First Module = MODULE: VEGETABLE GARDENING AND HERB CULTIVATION
- Second module = ICT TECHNOLOGY MODULE (Information and Communication Technologies)
- Third Module = BEEKEEPING MODULE
- Module 4 = MANUFACTURING OF FINAL PRODUCTS – ITEMS
We invite you to a free workshop as part of the first module, where we’ll discuss, gain new knowledge, or further develop and expand on what you already know about gardening and herb cultivation.
We will be joined by our project partner, Margita Vehar from Dežela zelišč. As part of the “Gardening and Herbalism” module, we aim to share new knowledge, experiences, and best practices in the fields of gardening and herbalism. Nowadays, for many people, buying healthy food—especially vegetables—from stores is financially out of reach. That is why, through this module, we want to encourage self-sufficiency in vegetables and herbs.
With this new knowledge, we believe we will improve our quality of life by improving the quality of the food we eat and, at the same time, our self-confidence (more knowledge leads to greater independence).
We’ll meet on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at Dobrova Elementary School (project partner), 20 Cesta 7. maja, 1356 Dobrova.
Advance registration is required at mira.jakupaj@cene-stupar.si.
