Program Description: Logistics Technician – SSI

What is the fastest, most cost-effective, and safest way to transport people, cargo, or information from point A to point B? Logistics provides all the answers, which is why some people colloquially refer to it as the science of the future. Our country’s importance as a transit hub is yet another reason why pursuing this career is both sensible and worthwhile. Because the infrastructure is not yet fully developed, a great deal of resourcefulness and adaptability is often required to succeed in this business.

Due to the ever-increasing volume of freight, passengers, and information being transported, there is a growing demand in the market for professionals with this profile. Nevertheless, you also have the option of pursuing an independent entrepreneurial and career path as an alternative.

Enrollment Requirements

Anyone who meets the following minimum requirements may enroll in the Logistics Technician – SSI program:

  • completed elementary school or lower-level vocational school

Enrollment Process

Before enrolling, you can contact us by phone or email, or visit our office for an informational meeting. After reviewing your documentation and analyzing your needs and options, you can decide to enroll. Upon enrollment, you will work with the program organizer to develop a personalized education plan that outlines the conditions, methods, formats, and deadlines for fulfilling the obligations set forth in the educational program.

Upon enrollment, you will also gain access to the e-index, where you can access various materials, exam dates, lectures, consultations with professors, class schedules, and other important information.

Self-directed learning

Participants can choose whether to study the material on their own and take only the exam, or to attend the lectures beforehand as well. Some lectures are mandatory.

Payment

With us, you pay only for what you’re missing! So you don’t have to pay tuition for the entire academic year—you just pay for the exams you haven’t taken. You can choose to take the exams along with the lectures, or study the material on your own and take only the exam. Upon enrollment, you pay a registration fee of 150.00 EUR, and re-enrollment each subsequent year costs 85.00 EUR. Each missing exam costs 90.00 EUR, while an exam with lectures costs 160.00 EUR. For an exact calculation, you’ll need to schedule a consultation with our educational organizers, who, after conducting a preliminary assessment of your prior learning from any secondary education you may have completed, can tell you how many exams you still need to take.

Adjustments for Special Education

The course requirements for the Logistics Technician – SSI program are tailored based on the recognition of an individual’s prior learning. Adult education is a specialized field of education, so we strive to adapt to your needs as much as possible and take individual needs into account.

Lectures are held 2–4 times a week in the afternoon, as are exams and office hours. Exam periods run throughout the year, and the vast majority of exams can be taken at least once a month. This allows participants to set their own pace and tailor their education to their needs.

You can choose between attending lectures and self-directed learning. An exam follows the completion of the lecture series. While the focus is on self-study, you have access to in-person and online consultations with the instructor, during which they will explain your course requirements and objectives and are available to answer any questions you may have.

Upon enrollment, work with the training provider to develop a personalized training plan that outlines the conditions, methods, formats, and deadlines for fulfilling the obligations set forth in the training program.

Lectures

Most courses do not have mandatory lectures before the exam, but depending on your individual situation, we will advise you on which ones you should attend.

Who can complete the program?

Requirements for Completing the PROGRAM

The following must be rated positively:

  • general education courses,
  • required professional modules,
  • elective professional modules,
  • the open part of the curriculum.

In addition, the following must be completed:

  • requirements for on-the-job training,
  • vocational high school diploma

Conclusion – Vocational High School Diploma

  • a written and oral exam in Slovenian,
  • a written and oral exam in logistics,
  • a written and oral exam in a foreign language or mathematics,
  • product or service and justification.

Obtaining an officially recognized document: VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA

Qualification earned: LOGISTICS TECHNICIAN

Completion of Schooling – Vocational High School Diploma

The vocational high school graduation exam is administered three times a year (spring, fall, and winter sessions).

To register for the vocational high school graduation exam, go to the office and fill out the REGISTRATION FORM.You do not necessarily need to have passed all your exams at the time of registration. You must complete all requirements by the withdrawal deadline. If you wish to withdraw from the vocational matriculation exam, you must fill out a WITHDRAWAL FORM at the office .
