A practical 55-hour training course that teaches you everything about pedicures and prepares you for the process of obtaining the NPK pedicurist certification.
NPK Training Program for Pedicurists
The training program is based on the Catalog of Professional Knowledge and Skills Standards and consists of 55 instructional hours. It is intended for anyone who wishes to acquire professional knowledge in the field of pedicure.
Upon successful completion of the training, candidates may begin the process of verifying and certifying their National Vocational Qualifications (NPK) and obtain an officially recognized certificate National Vocational Qualifications (NPK) for Pedicurist.
Program Content
The program covers theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of pedicure:
- What is a pedicure and what is its purpose?
- anatomy of the feet and nails,
- nail structure and changes in the nails,
- setting up and preparing the pedicure area,
- The individual steps of a pedicure:
- calluses,
- callus or hard skin,
- nipples,
- ingrown toenails,
- foot massage,
- advising a client,
- abnormalities and changes on the skin of the legs,
- special attention to diabetic foot,
- foot aromatherapy,
- Nail Polishing and Nail Art,
- Applying an artificial toenail.
Implementation of NPK Training
We conduct this training as part of the regular curriculum at the Adult High School, within the framework of the Cosmetology Technicianprogram.
- Start of training: expected in the third week of September 2026
- Scope: 55 instructional hours
- Frequency: twice a week
- Time: 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Location: Classrooms at the Cene Štupar – CILJ Beauty Salon, 9 Luize Pesjakove Street, Ljubljana
If at least six participants register, we can also conduct the training as a standalone program.

Cost of NPK Training
The cost of the 55-hour NPK training course is 760.00 EUR.
