At the Cene Štupar – CILJ Language School, we create a supportive and inclusive environment where adults from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds can confidently learn Slovenian. We offer a variety of courses and programs tailored to different proficiency levels, needs, and goals.
Initial Integration of Immigrants
Free Slovenian language course with a certificate from the local administrative office.
Slovenian Language Proficiency Exams
At the introductory A1 and basic A2/B1 levels.
Preparing for the Exam
A 20-hour paid preparation course for the Slovenian language exam, featuring practice exercises for the written and oral sections, as well as tips for passing the exam successfully.
The KORAK Project
Cene Štupar – CILJ was successful in its application for the Ministry of Education and Training of the Republic of Slovenia’s public call for proposals, “Core Competencies 2023–2029.” Together with our partners, we will provide free adult education programs through 2029.

- At least a basic knowledge of the Slovenian language.

- A desire to embrace the new and to be included.
It is really very difficult to integrate into a Slovenian-speaking society if you do not know Slovenian. The first step towards integration is therefore to show your willingness to understand and communicate with those around you. If you are just starting out, you can partially help yourself with English, but be aware that not all residents of Slovenia speak English. First, you can learn on your own , as self-taught or take a language course.
For anyone eager to learn, we offer numerous ways to acquire proficiency in Slovenian and other foreign languages. We invite you to take advantage of our wide range of free courses, taught by approachable and qualified instructors who are committed to their ongoing professional development and use modern teaching methods in the classroom.
